Transitions from Reality

Transitions from Reality started with the desire to create timeless pieces of art. Photographs that may have been taken anywhere, and at any time. Photographs that could exist both as fantasy and reality. The chances that you walk into someone’s all red house are pretty slim. However, by combing several found elements, I was able to completely transform the spaces that I worked in.
The desire to escape is an emotion that has been felt by everyone at some point or another. Daydreams of far off places, birthday wishes, and books that transport us to other places all help us live out the idea of leaving reality behind us and traveling to a far off world. Red World, Blue World, and Green World are the worlds I run off to. When life is too overwhelming, I can find the spaces where these worlds overlap with mine and escape within them.
