Every decision I make is influenced by the women who came before me. In turn, my choices will impact those who come after me. My whole life I have been told that I look, sound, and act just like my mother and I have watched my mother act just like my grandmother. As I grow older I will often speak and hear my mother speaking through me.

Projection is my attempt to document the similarities and differences between myself, my mother, and my grandmother both in the studio and in our own spaces. My photographs allow me to project the direction my life will take and better prepare for my still unknown future.
